Mistral has longstanding experience in the management of mobility projects in Brescia
We have hosted almost 900 young people coming from different European Countries and every year we cooperate with more than 60 local hosting companies in order to find successful placements for our foreign participants
We organize activities for the knowledge of the local culture and territory such as guided tours, trips and certified language courses
We also offer a supporting and monitoring service for the whole mobility period, staying in regular contact with our participants for any problems or requests
Our staff have extensive experience and we can offer tailor-made services in order to satisfy any need.

WHAT WE OFFER..

• PICK UP: we organise a pick up service to and from the airport or to and from the train / bus station by private bus
• WELCOME KIT: Every participant receives a welcome kit containing tourist information, information about local transports, useful addresses and advice for getting to know the local area
• ACCOMMODATION: we offer adequate accommodation for the participants in student residences with common kitchen, flats, or with a hosting family
• ITALIAN LANGUAGE CLASSES: we organize language and intercultural courses of 20/40 hours, depending on the budget and on the length of the internship. The course can be organized in two levels (basic/medium – medium/high) depending on the participants’ knowledge of Italian. At the end of the language course we issue a certificate to each participant
• CULTURAL ACTIVITIES: Brescia offers many cultural opportunities: our monthly events calendar includes concerts, comedies, guided tours to the castle and churches, visits to museums, art galleries etc. On request, we can organize trips to the lakes, mountains, other cities, guided tours to wine cellars, bike rides and parties
• INSURANCE COVER All our participants are insured free of charge for any accident occuring during the work placement as per the Italian law. An additional private insurance cover issued by the sending organization is required in all cases
• SAFETY COURSES We can organise safety courses, where required

• PROFESSIONAL PLACEMENT: Mistral maatches participants to placements according to their skills,interests and the opportunities available on the job market. We are in contact with many companies and organisations and placements can be found in any working field. The hosting company will look at the participants’ CVs before giving the final approval and the tasks during the placement depend on the participant’s competencies and knowledge of Italian language. The working hours are agreed between the trainee and the hosting company, but they will not exceed 8 hours per day/40 hours per week
• MONITORING: During the whole mobility period we keep in touch with both the hosting company and the trainee in order to guarantee a positive experience. We provide each participant with all the support he/she needs and we organize activities for the correct integration of the participant in the social contest
• LOCAL TRANSPORTS: should the participant need to take a bus to reach the working placement from thier accommodation the transport costs should be covered by a grant, except where  a different agreement between the sending and hosting organizations has been arranged. Mistral provides the participants with all the relevant information
• CERTIFICATIONS: Each participant receives a language certificate and a certificate for the participation at the project. If required, Mistral can attend to all Europass Mobility requirements – the evaluation form, the final report and any document needed by the sending organization
