On the occasion of the official inauguration of the park on Via Fura, which will be named at the European Union we will present the oil paintings created by students of the IIS Tartaglia Olivieri Institute. Italian and international young participants are expected to support the dissemination of information; Each participant will hold one piece and explain it while moving among the event attendees.
The artworks will also form part of a larger installation to be placed at the Youth Point of Brescia, representing a stylized train with “windows” made up of the artworks. The pieces depict stylized travelers (images taken from Google Maps at train and metro stations) reflected in train windows. The installation will also include mirrored windows, symbolizing that anyone viewing the artwork can be “included” in it and thus become a traveler.

Since its establishment, our organization has worked to offer thousands of students the opportunity to undertake fully funded internships abroad, financed by the European Union. At the same time, every year we host over 300 Erasmus+ participants in Brescia, acting as a support organization for the logistical arrangement of vocational internships in our area.

For over 20 years, Mistral Onlus in Brescia has created opportunities for thousands of young people through international mobility, education, cultural initiatives, and youth engagement, building strong connections between communities across Europe.
Built on values of inclusion, diversity, sustainability, responsibility, and personal growth, its work becomes meaningful experiences that open minds, build confidence, and create real impact—together.

“An exhibition of 11 oil paintings by students of IIS Tartaglia-Olivieri 3B Liceo Artistico, inspired by Google Maps and people in motion. Displayed in train window structures with reflective mirrors, the installation invites viewers to become part of the journey.”

“ The installation creates a continuous yellow fabric path connecting every visitor, representing both movement and shared thought. Some paths run close while others remain distant , reflecting how individual journeys intersect or diverge over time. As visitors walk, they leave subtle traces that build a collective map of presence and values, shaped through participation. Made from lightweight recycled materials such as nylon and plastic-based textiles, the structure is flexible and temporary. After the exhibition, the fabric is transformed into reusable bags, allowing each piece of the shared path to continue into everyday life as a personal artifact of a collective journey. “

DON TEDOLDI

I am Inn Kyin Phoo from Myanmar where education has been disrupted by both the pandemic and the military coup. Through my time in women’s organizations, I realized the reality of social inequality and the quiet resilience of communities during difficult times. Coming to Europe and learning at Mistral Onlus also helped me discover the power of solidarity and how it can create meaningful change. I learned that curiosity and togetherness can turn the challenges of conflict into hope for the future. I believe that esilience is not only about surviving, but also about building a world with shared opportunities for everyone.

I’m Mahmud Hassan Sarkar, I’m from Bangladesh but lived here in Italy almost all of my life. I have to admit that, despite some issues with certain people, in my lifetime I’ve come to meet and got to know many wonderful people. I’ve got to know the European welcoming sensitivity. Despite the diversity, we all try to converge, cooperate and be friendly with each other. Here in Mistral I have found a part of myself, I felt like working for something bigger than me; to help the others, the younglings like me.
